PIRANHA SAFETY ISOLATION SWITCH

The Piranha is the original and trusted underwater welding control unit, used across the industry for over 20 years. Designed as a 400 Amp DC isolating switch and monitoring station, it provides a safe and reliable way to control welding current and voltage during underwater operations.

Installed between the power source and the diver, the Piranha allows operators to safely isolate electrical current and monitor welding performance throughout the job. This ensures improved safety and better control during underwater welding tasks.

The unit is fitted with built-in amp and volt meters, DIN-style quick-release cable connectors (supplied), and a large, easy-to-use switching handle for clear and simple operation. Built for durability and ease of use, the Piranha remains a dependable choice for professional diving and welding teams.

Monitoring & Control
The Piranha switch allows operators to monitor and control all MMA/SMAW welding operations, providing clear readings of current and voltage to help assess the performance and efficiency of the welding machine and circuit.

Safety Standards
The unit features a 400 Amp, 600 Volt DC isolation switch and is manufactured to meet CE and UKCS directives, as well as Underwriters Laboratory (UL) and Canadian Standards Association (CSA) approvals.

Wet or Dry Operation
Originally developed for underwater welding and cutting, the Piranha switch is equally suitable for use in surface or dry environments where precise monitoring and safe control of welding operations are required, including potentially hazardous work areas.
