Amron AMCOM™ II 2820A-11 Two-Diver Portable Communicator is a compact, full-featured system designed for reliable diver-to-surface communication. It supports both 2-wire and 4-wire (full duplex) communications, allowing flexible connection for two divers at the same time.

The tender can operate the unit using the built-in microphone and speaker, or optional accessories such as a push-to-talk handset or headset for improved audio quality. Diver communications connect via dual banana jack binding posts, clearly labelled for quick setup.

An audio output (RCA) allows communications to be recorded or monitored externally. The unit can be powered by AC mains, an internal rechargeable 12V battery, or an external 12V source, and includes battery and AC status indicators.

Housed in a rugged, weather-resistant IP65 case, the AMCOM™ II is designed for durability and portability in demanding dive environments.

• Diver’s umbilicals can be set up on 4-wire mode (full duplex) or 2-wire mode (push-to-talk) or any combination of the two modes for each diver.
• Ability to use both dynamic and pre-amplified diver microphones with a unique circuit that detects microphone type and automatically adjusts volume levels. 
• The divers’ connections consist of cross-talk and separate speaker and microphone inputs.
• Internal charger allows for simultaneous charging and operation of the unit while protecting the rechargeable battery from being over-charged. Automatically supplies power to the audio amplifier when AC power is disconnected to allow for continued operation.
